Let's go to the zoo play
Too hot or cold outside? Then try this trip to the zoo without leaving the comfort of your own home. Creating a play zoo isn't as hard as it might look. Some stuffed animals, baskets and some blocks will get you a long way.

Baskets
Other small attributes like; trees, flowers, memory game cards, fences, puppets, cars
Preparation
Find an empty spot in the house where you can lay out your zoo. Find all your items and start building your zoo. Baskets make great cages. Memory card game cards can be used to build a path.
Play
Once your zoo is finished it is time to start your trip. Take a puppet and let them have a look at all your animals in the zoo. Along the way you can share some information on the animals with your child.

Another great reason why you should give this activity a try is that it hardly involves any clean up. Only the items that you have collected for the play need to be put back in the right place. Your child can help you with this.
